Yorkshire Water Site – Intake Lane

We would like to reassure parishioners that residents’ concerns regarding the Yorkshire Water site on Intake Lane next to the Playpark are being actively addressed, having been reported to the relevant authorities. These matters were raised as a priority due to safety and site condition concerns.

On Friday afternoon Yorkshire Water closed the chamber lid and removed the pipework from the site.We are aware that the fencing still remains damaged and that the verge has been left in an unsatisfactory condition.

Yorkshire Water have assured the Parish Council that they will carry out the necessary repairs and reinstatement in a timely and thorough manner.
