York’s Big Transport Conversation

Our Big Transport Conversation logo

City of York Council are inviting you to take part in an important conversation about transport in York.

For you, 'transport' might mean how you get to school or college; how you shop and get to work or visit family; how you travel between villages or into the city centre, or all of these things. City of York Council are here to listen to you about every aspect of travel, from accessibility on buses to walking and wheeling to driving and parking.

You can take part in the conversation by:

  • Completing the survey on the ‘Our Big Conversation’ website. You do not need to answer every question, and you can choose which sections you respond to.
  • Coming along to a drop-in event. There is no need to book, you can just turn up. The venues are accessible and have accessible toilets. There will be information on display, and you can take as long as you like to read it. The Big Conversation team will be there to chat with you and answer your questions.
Note: The closest event to Dunnington is at the Heslington & Hull Road ward meeting, which will be held at Heslington Village Meeting Room on Friday 17 January from 18:00-19:30.
  • You can also contact the consultation team by email: or by phone: 01904 551550 (where your questions will be passed to the team).

Have your say by 11.59pm on Sunday 4th February.
