Yorkshire Marathon 2021 Road Closures and Restrictions

The Yorkshire Marathon returns to York on Sunday 17th October. The event continues to be a great platform for participants to achieve personal goals and raise thousands for local and national charities.

The event follows the same route as previous years, starting and finishing at the University of York and skirting past Dunnington on the A166 between the 16 and 19 mile marker. To ensure the safety of runners on the day, road closures and restrictions will be in place. Parking suspensions and a tow order will also be in place across the route. Many city centre roads and bus stops will be closed during the event and most bus services will be on diversion, with delays expected on all routes. The organisers, Run for All, stress that roads will be re-opened as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.

Affected roads and areas on route are detailed on the road closure poster along with approximate closure timings. An online interactive version is also available. More information can be found on the www.runforall.com website or by calling 0113 826 7760.
