Vacancies for a Councillor

A paper-clipped collection of documents, the top one has a profile and some text.

If any one is interested in filling the current vacancies on Dunnington Parish Council you should contact City of York Council and let them know and also confirm that you are prepared to stand for election if necessary.

At or before the closing date City of York Council will inform you of whether there is more than one candidate and if so you will be asked to obtain the signatures of at least ten registered electors in the Parish to support your nomination.

Due to Covid you will then have to wait until at least May at the earliest before an election can be held.
